Hi! My name is Sara Garfinkel, and welcome to my website! Peruse as you please and drop me a line, even if it is just to say hello.
I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri and am a graduate of the Florida State University. I am a fun hybrid of Midwestern and Southern charm… What can I say, I like my tea sweet and my ravioli toasted! I danced as a soloist for the Tallahassee Ballet Company for four years, and then swapped the pointes for LaDuca’s to sashay into the world of theme parks and cruise ships. I pirouetted, high-kicked, and shimmied all over the world… I tested a do-re-mi and before I knew it, I was a dancer turned singer/dancer. Upgrading my Friday night karaoke bar sets to elegant stages at sea has been the most exhilarating part of my performing career. After a lot of “floating,” pun intended, I finally laid down some long-awaited roots in New York City… Continually seeking and happily finding more opportunities to be under the stage lights.
When I’m not dancing, singing, and being the happiest girl in the world on a stage somewhere, you can either find me reading on the elliptical or baking something sweet.
I firmly believe that if you love your life, life will love you right back. I try to throw kindness, acceptance, positivity, and love around like it is confetti, because the world certainly can never have too much of that.
